QE Indicators:

The Management of Qatar Exchange being cognizant of the importance of the financial indicators which are based on the financial conditions of the listed companies in assisting the investors in making an educated investment decisions, has prepared through the Department of Information and Public Relations, a group of the main financial indicators that are used in the capital markets world-wide. The financial indicators are made at the levels of the company, the sector and the whole market.

The Management of QE has decided to publish these financial indicators on a weekly and one-page basis with a view to assisting the investors with making the necessary comparison.

Within this context, the Management of Qatar Exchange requests the investors not to pay any attention to the baseless rumors and to base their investment decisions on studies and analysis of the financial conditions of the companies listed in the Exchange.

In this context, it is worth mentioning that the Management of Qatar Exchange in many occasions warned the investors of the danger involved in basing investment decisions on baseless rumors.

Nevertheless, the number of investors who base their investment decisions on groundless rumors has increased. This is why the Management of Qatar Exchange has decided to publish these financial indicators for the guidance of the investors in making their informed investment decision.

It is worth assuring that the Management of Qatar Exchange does not interfere with the prices of the listed of securities of the companies. The prices of securities are determined in accordance with the supply and demand mechanism applied to Exchange. It is therefore, the situation that the rise in the prices of the securities listed in the Exchange is not an indicator to that they will not fall and Qatar Exchange does not bear any responsibilities for the losses incurred by the investors since the role of the Exchange is confined to applying the laws and regulations with the aim of securing fairness, transparency and justice in securities transactions.
